Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include browser storage such as local storage. They let a service remember things between requests — for example, that you are signed in.

How we use cookies

verticast keeps its use of cookies and similar technologies to the minimum needed to run the service. We use them to keep you signed in and to keep your account secure. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.

Types we use

  • Strictly necessary — a secure, http-only session cookie that keeps you signed in and lets us refresh your session safely, plus short-lived values used to protect the sign-in and platform-connection flows (for example, OAuth state to prevent cross-site request forgery).
  • Local storage — used to hold your short-lived access token in the application so you stay signed in while you work.

These are essential to provide a service you have asked for, so they do not require consent. If we add optional analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will stop you from signing in and using the service.
